Nature Neighbourhoods
A series of animated stories celebrating grassroots organisations across the UK who are working together to make their communities greener. Created for WWF, RSPB, the National Trust and Co-op, the first film was shared across all partner social channels and achieved an impressive reach of over 2 million views. The animations use warmth, humour and character to reflect the people behind the movement.

Making A Start
It all begins with a cup of tea. Meet some members of the incredible communities and organisations, Hamilton Hill Claypits LNR, Earth in Common and Manchester Urban Diggers.
Sharing Knowledge
Never underestimate what you can learn over a flower bed. Or from your neighbour. From life lessons, to how to treat ill chickens; knowledge grows when knowledge is shared.
Thank you to Granton Community Gardeners, Easy Come Easy Grow, and Sow the City for sharing their knowledge with us.
Grow Your Wellbeing
It’s no secret that nature has a way of lifting our spirits.
As part of our ongoing Nature Neighbourhoods project, we’ve been shining a light on some of the local heroes helping people connect with nature and each other.
Together we are continuing to support community organisations like Octopus Community Network and Zebra Collective who are making this possible. We couldn’t be prouder.
Open To All
Nature has the incredible power to bring us together!
Granton Community Gardeners and Greening Maindee are community groups in some of the most ethnically diverse neighbourhoods in their nations. Through their shared love of creating green spaces, they’re creating strong connections with both nature and one another.
Making A Difference
“It’s woken people back up to what’s around them.”
Local groups are making a real difference, helping nature thrive in the heart of our communities. But this isn’t just about adding nature - it’s about creating positive, lasting change. It’s about people coming together to shape the kind of neighbourhood they want to live in.
Shoutout to EastSide Greenways, Green Communities, Real Ideas and Friends and Stoke in Bloom for featuring in this video and helping to bring nature back to our local spaces.
Wild Neighbours
“We just do it to make this place a better place for the community, the wildlife, the fish.” Local groups across the UK are proving that when nature benefits, the community benefits, too. Who doesn’t want a bit more nature on their doorstep?
Massive thanks to Ligoniel Improvement Association and Hamilton Hill Clayputs for talking to us for this video, and for all the work they do in their communities.
